How to make a Last Epoch loot filter
A loot filter decides which drops you see in Last Epoch. You build it from rules, export it as an XML file, and load it in the game. You can do all of it in your browser with Filter Muffin, and you don't need an account.
What a loot filter does
Every rule has one or more conditions, such as rarity, item type, affixes or a specific unique. When something drops, the game checks it against your rules. A matching rule can show or hide the item, recolor its name, add a map icon, play a sound or give it a beam. The game allows up to 200 rules per filter.
Build a filter
- Open the editor and click New.
- Add a rule and pick its conditions. Filter Muffin supports all 18 condition types the game has.
- Choose what happens when an item matches: show or hide it, and add a color, map icon, sound or beam if you want one.
- Repeat until the filter covers the drops you care about.
Starting from an existing filter is often faster. You can import one you already have, open one from Browse or Top 10, or add a mix-in, which is a ready-made pack of rules, to your own filter.
Put it in the game
Copy and paste
Click Copy in the editor. In the game's loot filter panel, start a new filter and choose the option to paste from your clipboard.
Download the file
Click Download to save the XML, then move it into your Filters folder:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch\Filters Sync it automatically
On Windows, the Filter Muffin Sync app keeps your Filters folder and your muffin.gg account in step. Filters you follow update on their own.
Use someone else's filter
Browse searches every public filter by class, mastery, skill, strictness and more, and Top 10 lists the most viewed ones. Open any of them in the editor, change what you like, and load it into the game the same way.

Is it free?
Yes, Filter Muffin is free to use.
